About Page
The purpose of this web site is to help students learn and test their knowledge on immigration. It will act as a supplement and review to class material by building upon previous knowledge of immigration, as well as presenting new information about immigration today in the United States. This website will help students understanding of key vocabulary, concepts and trends of immigration. It will focus on the four main waves of immigration, Ellis Island and the immigration process, and immigration today.
This site has been designed by J. Schiff for Ms.Oliver's 4th grade classroom at Alcott Elementary School in Concord, Massachusetts. I am currently an undeclared student at Boston University hoping to dual degree in biology in the College of Arts and Sciences and secondary biology education in the School of Education, with a possibly spanish minor. This site is a requirement for the course ED101, which contributes to satisfying the Massachusetts licensing requirements for coursework in Educational Technology.
